Things have been slow for me recently and many others like you maybe?, and I have to start to think that maybe their is a reason for this?, and I don’t mean just the economy, but maybe in the method we use to try and make it as a blogger/affiliate, its not easy right?, just take a look at this..
Flatline city at my ClickBank account, its times like these when those sales pages with the same clickbank account capture filled with thousands of dollars really get to us right!, which is pretty much why we end up hitting the buy button on those very same pages!.
Our lack of results may not be our fault at all, what if it lays in the way we approach our methods to try and turn our profits around?, what if we did buy that clickbank profit ebook, why did that not work either?, could it be that maybe the fact that thousands of other affiliates just like us bought the very same book, launched the very same campaigns, hit the very same markets, and all at the same time!, no wonder we struggle to get results if any from these methods.
Trying To Be Different
If all you do is follow what others are doing then you can only get diminished results, which in some cases may be great, but why not try to be different from all the others, why not try to break away from the pack and try to find your own methods to meet your dreams/goals, say for example you researched your own methods to try and generate your income, their are so many ways to do this you might just have to break away from the rest to do it.
One of the ways I find helps with this is to get away from a computer altogether, get back to the pen and paper and put down what you need to do, come up with a visual plan for it, and think about new ways to implement it, for instance this is an idea of what I came up with.
What I need to do..
- I need to find a hungry market ready to buy.
- I need to find out what they are asking for.
- I need to get a great related product to that problem/need.
- I need to find out where they all hang out
- I need to place that product right in front of their noses.
- They need to love it, sign up, then buy it.
- I need to get steps 1-6 to happen on a regular basis.
Now you have your list of what you need to do, now you need to put yourself into the position of that same person you are trying to sell too, if you had a need/problem where would you go for it?, this is another good time to stay away from the computer, it helps to ask friends and family or anyone really the way they spend their time online, and also if they buy anything online, where do they do it?, you can pick up some great tips here so make a mental note to remember for when you get back in front of a computer.

As I said above put yourself in the position of the people you are trying to sell to, if they hang out at a particular site then you should too, find out not only about the people, but finding out about the site can get you allot of information too, one of the best tools to use here is http://www.quantcast.com/ , not only can you enter the site domain in the search box, but try entering your keyword phrase too, Quantcast will then take you to the most popular related site to that keyword, its great stuff!, it will even tell you if that site accepts ads also.
This All Sounds The Same?
Yes, so far it sounds the same approach as many other people already use right!?, well it is, but this is where you get to be different, if I told you what im trying or what to do, then that would be the same as me, and no different!. So from here on its up to you to do something out of the norm, find new sites to try out, try new media approaches, even go way back to sites you used in the past that you would not even think you could use, but maybe you will be surprised?, this is the thing about unexplored methods, if nobody ever tries it, how do you know it will fail?.
And if you do find success, then make success out of it by putting it all down in a report/ebook, including that clickbank screen capture of your account that now has more numbers in it than the local bingo hall!, by doing this you have moved full circle, now others follow your methods that you paved and proved the way with, just like you did before, remember if you did not try to be different you too would still be following that pack that now buys products from you!.
