Ok I know around in the blog circle’s bloggers everywhere are being asked to post 25 interesting things about themselves, bloggers everywhere, but not me!:-(, and that’s because either a) I’m just not interesting enough, or b) My blog is so bad, in order to be acknowledged as a blogger would bring the entire industry to its knees!, what one would you pick;)).
Anyway I thought id do a list regardless, that way you find out more about me, then you can make fun of me even better in the comments below;). so here goes 25 facts all about me!.
- Born March 13th 1977, South London UK. ( which makes me 31 and a Pisces, even though I’ve seen 3-legged dogs swim better than me!).
- Moved to Connecticut USA, in 2002, where I still live married with 2 children(which are cats, very spoiled ones!)
- Works in Retail, where shall remain nameless, but trying everyday to blog/internet marketing on a full time basis, i’ll get their!.
- Once appeared on an English TV show in front of 4 million viewers. If I remember right I was about 16 years old, and petrified!!. I was so pale , if I were standing next to a whiteboard you would have written notes on my face!:)
- Met Hugh Laurie – Dr. Gregory House, from TV show House;), I was in a music store in London a few years back, and Mr Laurie was sitting at a piano trying it out, I looked at him, he looked at me, and I walked on by to nervous to say anything!. doh!. I wonder if he bought that piano?.
- Studied music in college while playing in a band, we only really played 4 shows, one of which was for a birthday party for a 90 year old lady!:), which we did not know it was for, only until they wheeled her into the room did we realize!, so the cover versions of Lenny Kravitz and U2 songs went down like a lead balloon, I think after that 90 year old lady wheeled herself back out the room, thats when I realized it was over;).
- I used to design web sites on a part time basis, which is where I picked up Css. Php and SEO, I say part time because part of the time I was ok, and the other part I was pretty mush awful at it:).
- Was a runner up at age 15 in a poetry comp, which later got published in a book, I say it was a fix, cos the winners poem sucked!.
- Love cats and bulldogs.
- Has seen ghosts(the movie and the real thing;)).
- Loves photography.
- I hate mushrooms!!
- Love eating out, and has a weak spot for mojitos!.
- I once got so drunk I decided to take a shortcut through a field on the way home from a pub/bar, only to be confronted by a stream, what did I do?, I tired to jump across, failed miserably and fell in!, then on the way out the field, had to climb a fence, got stuck, fell down the other side ripping a huge hole in my brand new coat I bought earlier that day!!. silly me!.
- Love WWII history, and talks for hours with all the veterans whenever I can, truly great hero’s that should never be forgotten!.
- My first ever search term in Google was “Queen”, I love the band, but lets just say the results for that search were not recommended at that time!:).
- Hated school with a passion!.
- Makes the best pancakes ever known.
- Once had long hair right down my back, then I had a Mohawk;), one extreme to the other!.
- Has watched Pres Bush Senior fishing in Maine, he caught a huge fish too, but to this day I swear their were divers underneath hooking him right up!;).
- Does the worst moonwalk you have ever seen, but at least I think its good:).
- For some reason I enjoy politics!, I have no idea why, but around election time I was hooked!.
- Loves Laurel and Hardy films!, they crack me up every time, classic comedy at its best.
- First ever computer was a Commodore VIC-20, games took about 4 days to load, and the graphics were all matchstick men, but game play was awesome.
- Was once savagely attacked by a donkey and squirrel when I was young for no reason, not on the same day thankfully!. The donkey bit me in the chest, I still have a small scar, and that crazy squirrel decided to eat my hand, to which I said my first ever swear word, so I not only got attacked, I got in big trouble too!.
