This post is in response to an article by newbie internet marketer John Reese;), his article at income.com titled Opportunity Is Definitely Knocking discusses the bad economy, but also how this is a golden opportunity for many….
Right now the global economy is going through a rough time. And it may even get worse before it gets better. But in any situation, even during the Great Depression, there is always a massive amount of opportunity to build wealth – you just have to be willing to seize it.
Know this… Opportunity is all around you.
So armed with this knowledge, John suggests that some older methods of passive income for marketers are no longer consistent, but a way around this is to actually make offers to people, seems strange right;)?.
Getting Yourself Sidetracked
He also hit the nail on the head with allot of the things that get us sidetracked, and may not be the most productive of things to be doing all day, for instance…
Not fiddling with SEO. Not posting on Twitter all day. Not surfing Facebook. Not hanging out on discussion forums. And not spending countless hours of your time on research.
Now all of those things certainly have value, and some of them have a lot of value. But without making offers and selling stuff you aren’t going to make much money.
How many of us do this, I know I do it all the time, and before you know it, its dark out and the cats need feeding, and you have not accomplished a thing really. Tools like Twitter and Facebook are very important, but its only when it gets unproductive that it gets you in a bind, but just realizing that this is happening is a good way to put a stop to wasting endless hours online.
Create Your Own Products?
Some advice given in the post go alone the same lines as I’ve posted about before, which include creating your own new products to offer to your customers, or even promoting someone else’s product where you get paid(i.e clickbank), but all this ties in to actually getting proactive at making. Then the post ends with a ‘real world’ case study who took Johns advice, and succeeded.
It goes to show you that if you follow the right path, opportunity is out their you just need to make the offers to find it, which is probably why you are seeing allot of the top marketers i.e Frank Kern, spending allot of time making offers to people, even John Reese will soon be coming out with a new product, so these guys really practice what they preach, and we should be doing the same.
Plenty Of Opportunity
There is PLENTY of money for you to make right now. Don’t let this economic situation “fake you out” into thinking people aren’t buying stuff anymore. It couldn’t be further from the truth. You just need to ACTIVELY make offers if you want to make more money.
Opportunity awaits us, forget what they say on CNN what do they know;), if all you do is listen to the lack of money stories, then thats just what your going to get, but once you realize that this could be a time of golden opportunities, it might also be a time to actually start to make some offers, give it a try, if you never try you never know right!.
