Weekly Recap

This week was consumed by Clickbank and trying to get my report into its marketplace, 5 emails, one new domain, one new site later my product was approved..

cbaprov

This was not an easy process to set up, only pointing to the fact that I was not able to use “Twitter” in the main domain name of the sales page, but I could however use it as an extension, i.e www,domainname/twitter, so this I needed to change right away and did so with a brand spanking new domain name.

After this I needed to make a few alterations to the sales page and the thank you page to get it finally Clickbank ready, and once this was done all I had left to do was pay the fee to have my site listed.

All the time I was making these changes I was being guided by a Clickbank customer service rep, this guy was just awesome by not only telling me what to change, but also how to do it, and this is just what I needed at this stage of the process. I goto say that Clickbank were great all the way through it which left a great impression in my mind.

Now my product was approved I needed to submit it into the marketplace, this just means you select the categories that your product will appear in, after this is complete you have to wait 3 business days for it to appear, which sucked because I did this on Friday so now have to wait an extra two days!.

But the good news is I expect it to be in the CB marketplace early this week, and yes it will have less gravity than Mars, but i’ll work on that;).

Keyword Kung Kindle

After The Twitter Technique was submitted onto the Amazon Kindle ,I wanted to follow this up with my other report Keyword Kung Fu by releasing this one for FREE, but you cannot list a free item on the Kindle, so I had to list it at $1, by doing this I just wanted to research what would happen with both my reports at opposite ends of the Kindle price point.

The Twitter Technique went live on the Kindle last Friday and quickly logged it’s first sale. Keyword Kung Fu just went live a couple of hours ago so I don’t have a lot of stats for that report just yet, but hopefully in a couple of days I can give you a run down of how both these products are performing.

Clickbank Affiliates

With The Twitter Technique about to be released into the CB marketplace, im on the lookout for CB affiliates to promote it, so if you are on the lookout to promote a new product, let me know and i’ll tell you exactly when its live on the marketplace, come join me;).

  • Congrats on getting accepted!

I'm working on a couple e-products now that I hope to get submitted to ClickBank...one day...

    Good luck with
  • How much does Amazon take per sale? Is it a fixed percentage?
  • I think this percentage may be different depending on the product, but I was told it averages about 30%, and this was the case with my first sale.

    Hope that helps you Sebastien:)
  • It's not too bad. I already sell 2 ebooks on CB and I give my affiliates a 50% commission. I'm gonna look into this Amazon Kindle thing, that might be another way to generate more sales. I wish we could sell the ebooks on Amazon for people to download (not Kindle), THAT would help us generate more revenues quickly I think.
  • That would be nice if Amazon allowed us to do that!, maybe they might if this Kindle thing really does start to grow with even more info products?

How are your CB products going?, any success?.
  • One of them is doing great! Iget a paycheck of about $1400 every week from it (actually direct deposit) but I do spend about $500 in PPC on it. With the other product, I make about $200/week and spend maybe $30-$40 on PPC. It allowed me to quit my job, so that's a big plus!!! I think I'm gonna do like you and start writing about what I do and how I do it. Some people might be interested in that...
  • You need to start writing about stuff like you just posted, VERY inspiring stuff my friend im very happy for you too!.

I feel that if I can write about what I do what works best, the readers will be able to do the same things in their own niche. You always see the success stories of what works with some bloggers/marketers, but nothing about the process to get their in the first place.

We need to start an open blogging revolution;), by posting not only the good, but also the bad of affiliate marketing and blogging, you agree?.

I.e - > "Last week I made $13.50" ;) haha, see my point, thats 'real world':).

Are you selling an ebook on CB??.
  • Yes, you're right!
I'm selling 2 ebooks on CB. Health related stuff (sells better than business stuff!). I have been supposed to work on a new one for the last 3 months but I'm too lazy now and I don't see any rush since I'm already making more than I was in my last job... Anyways. Keep up the good job. I subscibed to your feed and I am following you on Twitter. Let's keep in touch!
