SEO Lies, The Controversial SEO Ebook
Ok I did say that I would never buy another ebook, or maybe I said that I would never buy another ebook for over $30?, but I thought to myself for just $1 I cant go wrong?, plus I thought SEO Lies would give me a fresh look at SEO and everything involved, almost like a refresh course on whats HOT in SEO right now, and after reading it im glad I did.
It’s good to know good honest SEO has not changed too much, it seems only the black hat tactics change on a much more constant basis, this book is not really an “how to” as such, its more of an brief look at a few points that can help your search engine rankings, then SEO Lies starts to go into how to apply certain methods to get you in the top spots of the rankings.
The book explains allot about the information you may have been told in the past that you should not do, or if you are doing could get you in a tight spot with google, this is the type of information that the book pulls apart and makes you see in a different way, and by showing you various examples of this, it really does give you a fresh look into the world of SEO.
One of the many reasons for me at least to buy an ebook is traffic tips, if I can get more traffic to this blog then I’m doing the right thing, and SEO Lies gives you a few traffic tips for generating more of a flow to your own site, simple and easy, and to be honest nothing i’ve not read before, but the way its written made me grasp it allot better than I have from previous ebooks, it introduces a method, explains that method, then gives you an actual example of that method in practice not leaving any stone unturned.
You may have heard from a few people in the past that SEO is not really that important, even a few of the gurus may tell you it really is not that important, but for a newbie like me with a new blog, SEO is VERY important!, I don’t have the thousands of people on my email lists that in just a few seconds I can twitter and get a ton of traffic to my site!, oh no, I wish I did, but thats not the case yet!, so I rely on good old fashioned SEO like many newbies, and thats why SEO Lies is important, and really for $1 how can you go wrong, just some of the references in this book are worth allot more than that alone!.
Out of 10 I would give this ebook an 8, and its only missing a 9 because their is a few typos in it, but nothing that’s going to interrupt your reading flow by any means, it has great tips, easy to read, easy to follow, and $1!!, so 8/10 seems to right for SEO Lies.
