I thought I’d use this post to recommend an awesome WordPress spam plugin!. This took me a while to work out but for some reason one of my other blogs was receiving more spam than a super Wal-Mart. But a few of my newer blogs including this one were not!?.Hmmm

At its worst I was probably getting a new spam comment every ten minutes to just that one blog!. And im sure it was spam becuase I dont think anyone on earth would like to see picutres of a naked David Hasselhoff, but that’s just one of the links in the comments I was getting!.
Im sorry to do that to you but you need to see why I had to find a way to stop this madness!. The guy talks to cars!.
So I pulled all my resources together to find out why my other blogs were not getting this kind of spam?. And I found the reason for it, the blogs that were not getting hardly any all had the same wordpress spam plugin.
When I did find out this plugin was working so well, I also found out that I was getting the same kind of spam comments to these other blogs too, but this plugin was blocking them!, sweet, and on top of that it was allowing the ‘real’ comments to come through without any problems.
The plugin is called WP-SpamFree and is simply awesome!, if you have the latest WordPress update all you have to do is search for it in the plugins directory. But if you have an older version you can download it from here Spam Plugin . Just follow the easy directions on that page to install it on your blog.
Get Tough With Spam
This plugin should put an end to your spam frustrations as it did for me, I now no longer fear looking at my comments anymore!. If you are in the middle of this spam problem you know what I mean!.
Spam sucks on any level, but the amount of time this plugin saves you from having to spam every single comment manually, will save you a ton of hassle;)!. And if it saves you from having to see David Hasselhoff in a speedo, its a lifesaver!!!.
