Link Builders
Working on building your links up is extremely important. If links are considered votes for your site by the search engine’s, and you have very little, then search engines will see your site about as useful as you trying to spit on a fire to put it out. I should know, I have just two links to my new niche site.:)
Building links can be boring!, it can take a lot of time to find the right places to leave your link. But in order to grow in links to your site it has to be done. Remember that the more links you have, the more important your site will seem.
Link Time Cutting
You can use specific search queries to find out where to leave a link to your site. Not only does this cut down on time, but it also finds you the most relevant places to do it.
For instance instead of before you may have opened up Google and entered your niche into the search bar, like this. ->
GO ahead laugh at me I don’t care;).
But say my niche was “Guinea Pig Jackets”, what would I do to try and build some links to it?. We can use another Google search for the answer to this. If we can find a place to add our link and make sure its relevant in one search, that would be awesome right!?.
This is what you can try for your own niche. ->
What im doing here is looking for the text “Post A Comment” on a web page, which is then related to the second part of guinea pigs, you can change this part for your own niche.
Im hoping to find a blog related to guinea pigs that I can add a constructive comment to, as well as leave my niche websites URL. Forget about all the do-follow no-follow crap, even if the site is a no-follow that blogs readers are not controlled by Google(yet), so if they liked your comment they will follow your link right back to your blog.

This is the first result that came up, so lets click on it to see what we can do. DRUM ROLL………..
Great!, it worked.
So we just found a blog all about guinea pigs to submit a decent comment to, and to also leave a link back to our blog in the process. When we input our original search term Google came back with 168,000 results. So in theory we have a heap load of link options to pick from.
Remember not to be spammy, don’t just say “hi, check out my site at www.theguineapigspammer.com-pletelystupid way to do it;). This will not only not get your comment on that site, but even if it does nobody will probably click on it.
Mix It Up A Little
The theory behind searching for links this way, is to pick out text in a site that tells you that you can perform an action. Which is why in my original search term I was looking for “Post A Comment”, because I know blogs allow you to post comments and leave links on.
But the beauty behind this type of search is that if you know of other things to look for on a site, you can try that too. For instance you could use these search terms.
“Add your link” your niche keyword
“add a comment” your niche keyword
“submit site” your niche keyword
“suggest a site” your niche keyword
Their is plenty you can try. Remember you don’t just want to go for blog comments, mix it up a little and get links from many different sources. Also don’t do thousands at once, you do not want Guingle, opps Google banning your site.
Another Nice Link Addition
If you can get them, a really good backlink to get is a .edu or .gov backlink .edu = educated people only, .gov = money and corruption 
. But really a .edu is an education based URL, and a .gov is a government URL extension, Google treats these more important than other backlinks so im told.
I nice way to search for these is to try a search term like…..
I added site:edu to the search term. This will make sure Google only looks for .edu domains, rather than just .com or any others. This is what came back.

Their you have it;). I tried this on another site I own just for pigs and giggles and picked up a few .edu backlinks pretty quick. The .gov are harder to find and it pretty much depends on your niche as well. You can only imagine what the government do with guinea pigs, so I didn’t even go there!.
