Brief Introduction
Hi, My name is Elliot, I’m 32 and the author/blogger behind this site which is basically a journal/dairy site of my attempts to finally make an entrepreneur of myself, and start to make money with internet marketing
So my big idea is to chart every step towards making money online using my internet marketing knowledge, with the eventual outcome of making “Super Affiliate” status! Dream big, start small!
Hopefully you will find this blog interesting enough to keep coming back to, and I’ll try my hardest to make your visits as entertaining as I can.
Why Flop Idle?
I was once in a college rock band who eventually like most bands disbanded, never to play together again. One member went into real estate, another was a builder and so on.
And me? I was designing websites for a while when I decided I wanted to design my own site all about what happened to your old band members, what did they become? Now of course we have Facebook for that;).
At the time of this idea Pop Idol was just starting up so I thought it would be funny to call this site Flop Idle. The Flop part because we were basically flops, and the Idol part I changed to Idle because we were no longer active on the band scene.
Anyway as you can guess nothing ever came of this site, I never even started it up. So rather than waste a domain name I thought it would be a good idea to chart my online affiliate marketing progress under flopidle instead. Still kind of makes sense though.
So that’s the short story of why this site became FlopIdle.com
