This week was consumed by Clickbank and trying to get my report into its marketplace, 5 emails, one new domain, one new site later my product was approved..

This was not an easy process to set up, only pointing to the fact that I was not able to use “Twitter” in the main domain name of the sales page, but I could however use it as an extension, i.e www,domainname/twitter, so this I needed to change right away and did so with a brand spanking new domain name.

After this I needed to make a few alterations to the sales page and the thank you page to get it finally Clickbank ready, and once this was done all I had left to do was pay the fee to have my site listed.

All the time I was making these changes I was being guided by a Clickbank customer service rep, this guy was just awesome by not only telling me what to change, but also how to do it, and this is just what I needed at this stage of the process. I goto say that Clickbank were great all the way through it which left a great impression in my mind.

Now my product was approved I needed to submit it into the marketplace, this just means you select the categories that your product will appear in, after this is complete you have to wait 3 business days for it to appear, which sucked because I did this on Friday so now have to wait an extra two days!.

But the good news is I expect it to be in the CB marketplace early this week, and yes it will have less gravity than Mars, but i’ll work on that;).

Keyword Kung Kindle

After The Twitter Technique was submitted onto the Amazon Kindle ,I wanted to follow this up with my other report Keyword Kung Fu by releasing this one for FREE, but you cannot list a free item on the Kindle, so I had to list it at $1, by doing this I just wanted to research what would happen with both my reports at opposite ends of the Kindle price point.

The Twitter Technique went live on the Kindle last Friday and quickly logged it’s first sale. Keyword Kung Fu just went live a couple of hours ago so I don’t have a lot of stats for that report just yet, but hopefully in a couple of days I can give you a run down of how both these products are performing.

Clickbank Affiliates

With The Twitter Technique about to be released into the CB marketplace, im on the lookout for CB affiliates to promote it, so if you are on the lookout to promote a new product, let me know and i’ll tell you exactly when its live on the marketplace, come join me;).

At the end of its first week my report The Twitter Technique has sold 12 copies so far, this has been from just me promoting it in various ways around the web.

I am still working on the affiliate program with a pending request still waiting at Clickbank, from all the great feedback I’ve got from the report and people asking to become an affiliate, im looking forward to the next week ahead when I finally get the report hopefully promoted by a few affiliates, this will take some of the work off my hands at the same time;))

Another thing im waiting on is its Kindle release, over this next week I should have the book published on an Amazon Kindle, this is still in review mode at the moment too.

Infomillionaire

I received Frank Kerns and Trey Smiths Infomillionare monthly this week too, their is an hour long interview between Frank Kern and Guru marketer Dean Jackson on the cd, basically handing out tips and advice on what worked for them along the way.

This months newsletter content is all about Google Adwords, and using some great strategies to improve your ads in the program, their is a lot of info in here I didn’t even know, and im always using Adwords so I cant wait to put these tips to use.

Info millionaire is getting better and better!!.

New Report – Keyword Kung Fu

To keep my momentum going as I discussed in this previous post First Five Sales , I started to write another new report and have just completed the rough version, its called Keyword Kung Fu and is all about a problem I use to find with keywords, that with some keywords you spend all your time researching them, then once you spend weeks building a site optimized for it, you hit the top spots in Google and do not get anywhere near the traffic the keyword tools said you would!.

Keyword Kung Fu shows you the method that I now use every time I search for a new keyword, this not only finds you some great keywords in the first place, but its also shows you a way to find out exactly how much traffic that keyword gets, right now, LIVE!!!.

So if this has become a problem for you in the past or present, if you are always looking for new niche keywords and need a better way, sign up to my blog newsletter and ill let you know the minute its released!!. This report works great!!.

Facebook Pages

The big news last week was all about Facebook pages, but their is still some confusion about what they really are and how to set one up, so this week ill post a video explaining and showing you all how to do it.

I’ll also give you access to The Twitter Techniques Facebook page as an example:).

Have a great week everyone, stay in touch;)

Now at the end of the week I thought i’d round up how it went..

Info Millionaire/PPC – Tried another couple of PPC campaigns at the beginning of the week for my info millionaire course, this time I thought id mix it up a bit, I tried Yahoo and Msn PPC programs, MSN bombed like a B17 at the height of WWII!, don’t think ill be using that for a while, id probably have more successes building a boat out of my monitor and trying to paddle the Atlantic!?.

Yahoo was pretty good though, I used the same ads as Google PPC and the same keywords just to compare them to each other, I seemed to get more impressions from Yahoo, but more clicks from Google, my CTR(click through rate) was allot better in Google too, at one point my CTR in Yahoo was so low it hit a negative and started to freeze!, the only click I got after that happened was from a polar bear!.

I let all three Ads run most of the day turning off MSN half way through, then just concentrated on the others by changing ad copy to see what results I got, at the end of that day I did not make any sales but I learned a great deal about the different PPC programs, I even gave YouTube a try, but did not like that too much.

Good thing about PPC is it can be done on a budget, I don’t have tons of cash to just throw at it, only usually just $15 per day, but if you make your ads extremely targeted even by listing the actual price of the product in the ad copy, you know that at least the people that do click on that ad have an idea of the price before they even cost you a penny, so if they hit that page knowing the price already, its up to the landing page to hook em in, sure doing this reduces your clicks, but if they are not going to spend the money anyway you just wasted a click right.

Flop Idle – My goal for the last couple of weeks has been to really concentrate on increasing traffic to my blog, and its working pretty well, I’ve actually trained both my cats to socially bookmark my site for me, unfortunately one of the headlines was “gregij4032g2-3gm23gwg” so back to the drawing board with that one!, fired them both!.

But a visitor did Digg this blog in the week which brought in 188 visitors, I felt like Macys on black friday!, I remember checking my analytics that day to discover a huge spike in traffic!!, see not only are they great for tents but very good news for our blogs too;).

Videos videos videos, put up another three videos this week, I found some great sites and really couldn’t explain them with just text, so decided its better to actually show you how to use them, plus im trying to see if videos will bring any new visits to this blog, my first video a couple of weeks ago took forever, I must have spent about a week on edits alone, you would have thought the thing was about 3 hours long!!.

My last three videos took about 30 mins this time, and really they were live on YouTube in about an hour, which is a big improvement over the first one, goes to show that sometimes its just better not to over do things, and just get it out their.

My last goal of the week was to post on a more regular basis, this also helped with traffic too, people kept coming back on a more regular basis and I also got allot more comments than before, so this is working really well and something I shall keep up on over the next week also.

Oh one last thing before I end the weekly recap, I got one sale from Clickbank which was only $15 but still a nice sum, and also a purchase from one of my niche sites from commission junction, yep all that work done, someone buys something for $60 and I get under $5!, lousy commission!, I could probably make more rolling around in a park collecting pennies with my teeth!, but that’s why I love ClickBank!!.

Thanks for all the comments you have asked over the last week, please keep them coming and keep following along with me as I go through this week, any tips I have will be yours too, so keep checking back;)).
